The purpose of Women’s Ministry at First Presbyterian Church is to glorify God. We provide avenues for personal spiritual growth and the development of spiritual gifts, expressing our God-given commission through fellowship, Bible study, encouragement, prayer support, care and assistance in time of need, thus equipping and touching the lives of women who in like manner share the love of Christ with families, the community, the nation and the world.
Women’s Small Groups will meet for 11 weeks consecutively between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. This fall, groups will be using Jen Wilkin’s God of Freedom to study Exodus 19-40. Groups will meet at a variety of times and locations, and you will be able to indicate your preferences on your registration form. Small groups are a great way to both grow in your faith and knowledge of the Lord and fellowship with other women of all ages. If you're interested, please contact Marie Louise Bowers at [email protected] for more information.
The Foundry is our one-on-one discipleship program in which women teach other women to follow Jesus. If you are interested in learning more, email Marie Louise Bowers at [email protected]. Registration is open until Sunday, September 18 for 2022-2023. Please click here to register as a mentee.
The Foundry will kickoff on Tuesday, September 27 with a dinner at 6:00 p.m. More details will be provided closer to the date.
