Salvation Army Kettle Bell Ringing

We will be ringing for our Christian brothers and sisters for the Salvation Army at Lowe's Foods on Forest Drive December 2, 3, 9, 10. We have many slots to fill! Anyone 16 and up can be the ringer "of record," and teens and kids are welcome to ring. This is a great opportunity to cheer the hearts of shoppers, raise funds for the poor, and introduce your children to Christian service. Click here to sign-up to volunteer!


Serve in the nursery during worship services and Sunday School. 

Children's Ministry

Serve as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday Night Kid's Club teacher, or volunteer with various other programs. Click here to sign-up to volunteer!

Nursery Volunteers Needed During the Christmas Season

Please consider giving the gift of your love and time to the families of our church during this holiday season. We are in need of nursery volunteers for all the Christmas services.

Volunteers are needed:

December 24, Christmas Eve Services 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m.

December 25, Sunday Morning 10:00 a.m.

Youth Ministry

Connect with middle school and high school students during Sunday School and Youth Group. Chaperone a trip, or help host a youth event. 

College Ministry

Build relationships with college students during Sunday School and Bible studies. Host special events and gatherings. 

Young Professionals Ministry

Build relationships during Sunday School and Bible studies. Host special events and gatherings. 

Care Ministry Teams

The Pastoral Care Department oversees several groups of Care Ministry that match gifts and services of members to someone within the church family who is in need. Types of Care Teams include Meal Teams, Transportation Teams, Handyman work, Basic Errands, Yard Work, Household help, Visiting etc. 

Music Ministry

Opportunities include filing music, stuffing choir folders with music, choir robe management and helping out at our merchandise table before and after concerts.

Green Apron Brigade

This is a team of volunteers devoted to serving the congregation through hospitality and food service at regular dinners (Sunday and Wednesday nights) and other special events. 

Special Needs Ministry

Serve the Special Needs families in our congregation through opportunities with their Sunday School class or weekly Friendship Club on Sunday Nights.

Welcome Center

If you're interested in greeting newcomers and members on Sunday mornings, help by serving at our Welcome Center for 30 minutes before Sunday School. Answer questions, help point people in the right direction, and be a welcoming face for First Presbyterian Church. 

Sunday Greeters

Welcome all into the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings with a smile! Greeters of all ages are invited to serve in this way. 

Media/AV Technician

Do you have prior training or a hobby working with Audio Visual equipment? We are looking for volunteers to occasionally serve on Sunday mornings or for other special events.
