In 2009 First Presbytery of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church received Athole Rennie into ministry for the purpose of planting a church in his home country of Scotland. This effort is taking place in Leith – a community on the north side of Edinburgh.
Athole along with his wife Rosalynd and son Erskine have moved into the community. Volunteers have also joined then in this effort to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. First Presbyterian Church has become a partner through prayer and financial support.
