World
Ministries

One of the great privileges of belonging to the church family that meets at the corner of Lady and Marion Streets is that we also spread from here into so many neighborhoods and walks of life in the city of Columbia. From there we then reach out in caring, praying, giving, and going to the ends of the earth.

Our missionaries serve in Latin America, Europe, the former Soviet bloc, Pakistan, and China, among Russian speakers and Muslims, in interpreting and teaching God’s word, in church-planting and missionary-caring, in mercy and medical ministry, reaching the poor and touching the intellectual.

It is our joy to serve together in the kind of relationship Paul felt he had with his beloved Philippian Church—a “partnership . . .  of giving and receiving” (Philippians 4:15).

All of our missionaries look to us especially for prayer. Let us not fail them. May they all bear much fruit in their spheres of service and, as their number increases, may our joy in them and partnership with them abound!
